The Yellowstone Young Republicans believe we have a responsibility to inform our generation of the issues, elections as well as current state of affairs. As a country and state we have very limited time to put this state and country back on the road to prosperity. With this event it gives us the ability to inform as many college students, young professionals as we can. It gives you the chance to let our generation know what you plan on doing for this state, not for a term or two, but for generations to come. What impact are you going to leave on MT if elected? Baby boomers are reaching the age of 65 at a rate of 10,000 a day!!! Our generation is bigger than the baby boomers, so therein lies the question how do we accommodate?
“We believe that we can energize, educate and elect people that will lead us down a road that has been less traveled. A path that only a few are willing to go down, but know what it will mean if we don’t head down this path. That its okay to be engaged with whats happening with your school, city, state and your country, at any age level! By educating our generation of the issues, these people will be able to make a choice, do they want the same opportunities the ones who have came before had, or the scenario that we give more and receive less. We believe that this will not be easy by no means, but all have made the decision that this road will lead us to a future of prosperity. ”
The Young Republicans (YRs) are the oldest political youth organization in the United States. Important to the growth of the Republican Party, the YRs reach out to registered Republicans, 18 to 40 years of age, and provide them with better political knowledge and understanding of the issues of the day.
Since its creation, the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF) has established itself as the premier Republican grassroots organization in the nation, providing essential grassroots support for Republican candidates and conservative issues on the local, state and national levels. The YRNF has a solid record of producing future Republican Party leaders – including Governors, Senators, Congressmen, nationally recognized campaign consultants, and community leaders.
Through recruiting, training and mobilizing people, the YRNF presents an opportunity for ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Through community involvement in political issues, charitable projects and participation in political campaigns, YRs work to improve the world in which we live. While the YRs are best known for political activism and service to our communities, YR events also provide a great opportunity for interaction amongst membership. This interaction allows for the exchange of ideas, networking, and friendships that will last a lifetime.
The YRs provide different opportunities for different people. No matter what your long-term goals may be, the YRs serve as the building blocks for a successful future.
